Celeste is a city planner working in one of the most prominent civil engineering firms in Northern Florida. Her photo shoot was great; she was practically radiating warmth and joy which I think shows in her photos.

There’s a Louis CK bit where he talks about being dumb enough to do dumb things but smart enough to realize it. I often feel this way about how I treat romantic relationships. I’ve said very dumb things to her to be quickly overcome with regret and self loathing.

Now I feel committed more than ever but still I ask myself the question: What took me so long? Over the two years I’ve known her, I found that she’s one of the sweetest people I know, with a heart so compassionate that makes you re-evaluate your own. It took me a while but now I know.
