Very strenuous…
The National Parks Service has deem the Old Rag Circuit hike as “very strenuous”, the highest rating in their Hiking Difficulty Scale. And I can see why: over 6 hours of heavy inclined hiking, a very rewarding rock scrambling leg, and a long knee crunching decline makes this hike no joke.
